Hi there ๐

I want to collect information about giving children a good education. At all levels from infancy up to about 18 years of age. Gather good practices from around the world. And finally synthesise all of that information into a cohesive system that can actually be used to educate a child growing up. Here are the really good resources I have found so far, in no particular order: CLAA - Classical Liberal Arts Academy - https://classicalliberalarts.com/ CGSUSA - The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - https://www.cgsusa.org/ Catechetical Curriculum Providers - Sophia Teachers, Loyola Press
Source: Court Document (PDF) Master docket: In Re: Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation The case is in the California District Court and is IN RE: SOCIAL MEDIA ADOLESCENT ADDICTION/PERSONAL INJURY PRODUCTS LIABILITY LITIGATION. What is interesting is how โwell meaningโ people can cause grave harm and not understand the gravity of their actions. The only way this can be understood is to recognise the reality of sin. Without that, repentence (which is what leads to real reform) will always remain distant. ...
The devil is tempting us to disobey God all the time. Loving God is a matter of tirelessly making the right choices. As much as we want to keep up the good streak, there is also a part of us that rebels against it. That rebellion is often voiced as โfreedomโ โ in reality, it is freedom simply for freedomโs sake. It is a purposeless mutiny. When I rebel against Godโs ways, I know I am veering off the path of true happiness. Yet, I canโt bring myself to obey God. ...
The Question This question may sound bizarre. It may even suggest something is wrong with the person asking it. But, if you are asking it, I want to affirm nothing is wrong with you. In any case, if we can consider a person not crazy to ask, โWhy is there only One God?โ, he is surely not crazy to ask โWhy is there only One Wife?โ. Not a Question of Morality Before I start answering this, I also want to make clear what this answer is NOT going to be about - morality. ...
I hope to write one article every week. I realise this is the best way to actually make some progress towards a unified work. Until now, i have always been taking a top-down approach, and often failing to make any progress because i often get lost trying to imagine the big picture. Instead, i am going to maintain here a โbacklogโ of topics; sorted such that the topics at the top are the most likely candidates to be taken up for writing each week. ...
John 19:40 They took the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. John 20:5 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; he saw the linen cloths lying, and the napkin, which had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths but rolled up in a place by itself. I am talking about the cloth that was used to bind the body of Jesus when it was placed in the tomb. ...
For a long time I wanted to do this: write an introduction to Christianity for those who have never known Christ. In a way, what I am doing is phenomenally redundant work. The Church IS the introduction to Christ. So is Mother Mary, so are the saints, so is the Sacred Liturgy. There are SO many ways to get to Christ. Yet, God in His great kindness saw to it that even I have a space, something to contribute. And so, as a young child is excited to teach his father how to spell, here I amโexcited to evangelize. ...

We live in a time of great progress; many of the so-called poor countries are lifting themselves out of poverty. This is happening in various parts of the world, India and Africa, to name a few. Such success has also prompted many people who have tasted success to think of what is it that is holding the rest of the population back ? Today in the news, I read about an interesting remark by Paul Kagame, an African leader. He (jokingly) said that he he will round up pilgrims to a Virgin Maryโs apparation site and put them in prison. That he will only release them after the โpoverty mentality has left themโ. Paul Kagame was drawing a parallel between poverty and religious beliefs. ...
